Hi everyone. Shiny here — blogging from my iPhone with a very intermittent cel phone signal. That’s because I’m spending the weekend (until Monday) in the far reaches of the Catoctin Mountains at the Pennsylvania/Maryland border. Yes, really. Feel free to cone up and visit.
But it means that this list will be a short one. Even though it is a day that has a 3 in it.
What am I doing up here in the mountains with my family? Doing lots of things you’re not, obviously.
Top 6 Things I’m doing which you’re not
6. Spending the weekend with 200-some high school students. Voluntarily. Good kids on the most part. But noisy…
5. Spending time speaking only Hebrew with some of these folks — mostly the ones who are here from Israel.
4. Seeing wild ants the size of burritos crawling around.
3. Watching a six-year old run around (well-supervised) interacting with said high school students. And, at times, forgetting that he and they aren’t the same age.
2. Happening to watch white people dance. And rather poorly, if I might add…
1. Sweating more than any person should.
