#1 includes Bruce Springsteen, “Born in the USA”

#2 includes the Fixx, “One Thing Leads to Another”

#3 includes Animotion, “Obsession,” as well as (I think) Prince, “1999″

#4 includes Men Without Hats, “Safety Dance”

see, what you all don’t know is that when Shiny was about 10, he and I would play a game where we would slowly turn the radio dial across all the frequencies and had to write down the name of every song we heard, thus honing our song-identifying skills for this very moment, and beginning Shiny’s pathological obsession with 80′s music that endures to this day. (At my engagement party, he gave a toast in the form of a Casey Kasem Long Distance Dedication.)

Unless I got them all wrong, in which case never mind.
