I’ve seen several of those movies… including “The Man From Earth” which bored me silly. I did, however, like “New Amsterdam.” 🙂

Not only is The Court Jester one of my FAVORITE movies – I have the Vestle in the Pestle on my i-pod
I also have the commitments soundtrack on my ipod and I think Wet Hot American Summer is way underrated. –

This shocks even me, but I have seen two of the films on the list. Waydowntown is a great little film — completely and totally bizarre and I loved it. I’ve seen the Commitments too, I loved the music in it… seem to have a bit more meat than say Fame.

The Commitments is one of my favorites, too! It’s just really, really good.
The rest? I have maybe seen the one (or parts of it) with Andy Garcia, but I don’t think I’ve seen the rest.
I can say, without a doubt, that the weirdest film I’ve seen is “The Cook, the Thief, His Wife and Her Lover”, or something like that. It was insane – especially since I was like, 18 when I saw it.

I’ve seen and loved five of them. “Waydowntown” and “The Wizard of Speed and Time” are new to me. But “Things to Do…” and “Wet Hot…” are two personal favorites of mine. Boat drinks!

And here’s a little Earl trivia for ya: One of the musicians in “The Commitments” is a cousin of mine whom I have never met. I know…not very interesting. Sigh.

I put The Man from Earth and waydowntown on my bb queue just now.

Court Jester is one of my all-time favorites, as is the Secret Life of Walter Mitty (another Danny Kaye classic).

POTATO SALAD!

ah, good times, good times.

Wet Hot American Summer is on right now…seriously, on Encore or Starz or HBO or Showtime. One of those.

Hmmm. I haven’t seen a single one of those movies. Thank you so much for adding to the already insurmountable list of things have to do to be as cool as you. 😉

You’re right. All except for one, I had never heard of before. The only one I knew was “Things To Do In Denver When You’re Dead”, which was actually a fun movie.
