I am really happy with my T-Mobile Dash. And the carrier has the best customer service ever... and I've been with all the carriers. I hear you on the smudges though and mine isn't even a touch screen. I find myself wiping it on my shirt all day long to preserve the shiny smudgeless surface of the display.
